How we built a pool-carnival sangeet for Gaurav & Alisha at Ramsukh Resort, Mahabaleshwar.
When we first met the family, they were explicit about wanting a wedding filled with power-packed entertainment for each ceremony. The Cannes-themed sangeet was the centerpiece — a vibrant, festival-like staging, with a traditional singer for Mayra elevating the music.
To keep the fun going between performances, we layered a mini Mahabaleshwar theme across the venue — ring games, balloon shooting, candy floss — the kind of activities guests associate with a pool carnival. It worked because the ceremony was always the anchor; the entertainment served it, not the other way around.
For the wedding itself, the couple wished for a temple-themed vedic phere. Renowned singer Rekha Rao conducted the chanting, and the pious setup brought the whole ceremony to a quiet, spiritual close — a grounded counterweight to the celebration that preceded it.
